Why we’re careful with necks
Your neck holds small joints, a lot of muscle and important nerves in a tight space. Real relief comes from calming the area down, getting it moving properly and keeping it that way, not from forcing a fast adjustment.
Your evaluation
Dr. Toth starts with a detailed conversation: headaches, earlier episodes, and what makes your pain better or worse. Then he checks your posture from the back and side, and examines you seated with motion palpation, feeling how each joint moves. Range-of-motion testing and checking the muscles help pinpoint what’s restricted or sore. Imaging is used only when it’s truly needed.

Gentle, function-first care
- Muscle work first, before any adjustment
- Diversified, Thompson and Activator techniques to restore motion safely
- Traction to gently open the joints and ease pressure
- Simple exercises that retrain posture and movement
- A check of the spine below your neck, so the whole back shares the load
We help patients with
- Sharp or aching neck pain and stiffness
- Headaches that start at the base of the skull
- Trouble turning or tilting your head
- Pain, numbness or tingling into the shoulder or arm
- A stiff or locked neck after sleeping wrong or a strain
When pain is new and intense, care is cautious and step by step. The goal is steady progress, often from constant pain to on-and-off over a few weeks as function improves.
